Pinkathon is more than a Marathon. It is the seed of change. It is the beginning of a movement carried forward by a growing community of empowered women, who share a belief that a healthy family, a healthy nation and a healthy world begins with empowered women.

The first step in empowerment is taking control of your own health, respecting yourself and understanding and celebrating the value you bring to your family and society. Empowerment is not a gift of society; it is a gift you give yourself.

The Pinkathon is India’s Biggest Women’s Run, founded by Mr. Milind Soman (Ironman/Supermodel/Fitness Enthusiast) and Ms. Reema Sanghavi, organised by the United Sisters Foundation and created with the specific purpose of getting more and more women to adopt a fitter lifestyle for themselves and their families, and to highlight the need for increased awareness other issues that put women’s lives at risk.

Currently it takes place 8 major cities in India.

kathmandu pinkathon Nepal Chapter

Leisure Port and Shivam Group Holiday jointly has initiated the introduction of the Nepalese chapter of kathmandu Pinkathon. United Sister’s Foundation has provided Leisure Port with the responsibility of organizing India’s Biggest Women’s Run – Pinkathon in the Nepalese capital on 24th February 2017. The first international Pinkathon Kathmandu will be held at the Rangashala Dashrath Stadium, Tripureshwar from 7 am to 11 am.

This event that symbolises women empowerment will be attended by the creator of Pinkathon – model, actor, fitness guru Iron Man Milind Soman. Nepalese celebrities from various walks of life namely sports, glamour, business, social work etc.

The registration fee for the run in the 3km, 5 km, 10km and 21km category will be NPR 500 only. This will include participation, Tshirt, medal (Tsunamika Doll) and snack packet. Let us all get together and make this a special day for women all over Nepal.

Kathmandu Pinkathon is being organised jointly by Leisure Port and Shivam Holiday Group Pvt. Ltd. in association with the Athletics Association of Nepal. The Kathmandu edition of Pinkathon promises to begin a Pink Revolution in Nepal, which will spread to other cities and towns in the coming days. www.kathmandupinkathon.com
