Itinerary for Halesi Mahadev Darshan by Road

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu at the Tribhuwan International Airport. welcomed by our representative transfer to hotel Our team member will describe the tour programs. Take 20 minutes to drive to the Hotel.

Meal: Dinner

Day 2: Drive to Halesi after Breakfast we drive to Halesi. The surface transportation is under construction so you need to kept patience till overnight stopped destination. You will take your lunch at Ghurmi. And after that, your journey again started for the final stop point.

Day 3: Visit Maratika Cave (Halesi Mahadev Temple) 
Today you have a full day to explore Halesi Mahadev cave. The main attraction of the cave is the five doors Ghopte Dwar, Paap Dwar, Dharma Dwar and Swarga Dwar. After descending through the stairs at the walls of the cliff, you will arrive at the big red stone which is revered as the images of Lord Shiva and his consort Parvati.

It is located between the holy rivers of Dudh Koshi to the right and Sun Koshi to the left. It seemed to b a half moon shaped figure due to the door of the temple which is faced towards the east. There used to exist a river before and you can see the mark of the dried river in front of the temple. Especially statues of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are placed in the temple.  Thousands of monks are accommodated here in this cave. After  the visit and pray at the holiest place you will return back to the Hotel

Day 4: Drive back to Kathmandu
Like the previous day, you will return back to Kathmandu by the same transportation. In rainy season you have to change two transportation at Ghurmi but in another season it doesn’t create any type of problems. For return back to Kathmandu we manage the vehicles according to the size of the group and the weather conditions, in conclusion, we gather lots of memories of holiest places of Halesi Mahadev and Return back to Kathmandu.

Day 5: Departure 
Today is the last day of the trip with us. If you would like to extend your holiday with us, we will help you.  The most ancient & holiest Place of Nepal is Haleshi Mahadev Temple. It is known as the Pashupatinath of eastern Nepal. Halesi is popular among the Hindus as well as the Buddhist all over world. According to mythology, it is called a mysterious cave , which are belived to be  three eyes of Lord Shiva ie. The first cave can see an image of Lord Shiva which is called Haleshwar Mahadev, in Second cave there is an image of Nandi. So, the cave is known Basaha Gupha. And there is an image of bhairav an in the third cave. Among these three mysterious caves the first one with the image of lord Shiva is the main part of the temple.
